True Story 10: My first exhibition
After all these years, I finally held my first exhibition.

Over the the years I got lots of invitations to hold a exhibition, but I never really wanted one. Just the idea of hanging my pictures at a gallery and maybe 200 people can see it in a week never sounded that great to me, especially not while this web site attracts way more than 3,000 individual visitors each single day.
However, a Tokyo based magazine called Player invited me to hold an exhibition at one of their parties and they got my attention after telling me that they also organized some naked sushi for the occasion. Plus they wanted me to hold a live photo shooting, something sexy and visual. After about a nanosecond of thinking I said ok. What can go wrong with my first exhibition when there is naked sushi? Maybe people will not remember my pictures, but naked sushi is not really something you see every day.
The party was called Exposure, so I printed and framed some of my favorite nudes, hired my friends Jane and Kelly as bodypainters and found Kaori, who agreed to be the model of a live body painting performance.
Additionally I created in 2 days of work a impressive slideshow, consisting out of 319 images with extremely cool transitions only to find out that the DVD player in the club where the party was held was broken. Uhm. Take my word for it, it was a great one.
There they are, my framed photos laid out in Club Pipers in Tokyo's Entertainment district Roppongi and ready to be hung on the walls.

While we were busy hanging the frames, Jane and Kelly started to paint model Kaori in the women's restroom. I sneaked in to get some pictures.

I was astonished about Kaori's patience, because she got painted from 2pm while the performance was scheduled for 9:45pm!

I wondered about the naked sushi and it came out that this girl was hired for the evening, but the MC didn't really told her what will happen to her before she arrived. Surprise!
